Newcastles NEEACA African Cultural Day, where they:
literally exploded onto the floor with energetic
and breathtaking choreography and infectious rhythms.
With members from Africa, Caribbean and Europe, FRITITI are
a testimony to London as a magnet for multiculturalism and artistic
excellence.

Brixton-based West African
drumming and dance troupe FRITITI had us all shimmying and twisting
- manoeuvres that came in handy later when the colourful, 20-strong
line-up took their frenetic, joyous rhythms outdoors, where
muscle men backflipped and balanced things, like the massive
Ghanaian fontonfom drums, on their heads.
